Time Server.A SNTP time server is a server computer that reads
the actual time from a reference clock and distributes this information
to its clients using a computer network. The time server may be a local
network time server or an internet time server. The most important and widely-used protocol for distributing and synchronising time is the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP), though other less-popular or outdated time protocols continue in use. The NIST Internet Time Service (ITS) allows users to synchronize computer clocks via the Internet. The time information provided by the service is directly traceable to UTC(NIST). The service responds to time requests from any Internet client in several formats including the DAYTIME, TIME, and NTP protocols. The time synchronization application allows you to synchronize your PC's system clock or all PC's system clock in your LAN using various time server types commonly available on TCP/IP networks, such as the Internet or LAN, And multiple time protocols are supported. As client, the protocol currently supported are Time protocols (RFC-868), and Simple Network Time protocols (SNTP - RFC-2030). It can be configured to full Time protocols (RFC-868) or SNTP protocols (RFC-2030) compliance . Time Server will itself provide time services to other computers using Simple Network Time protocols (SNTP - RFC-2030) or Time Protocols (RFC-868). It can be configured to full Time protocols (RFC-868) or SNTP protocols (RFC-2030) compliance, including server support. Features:
